1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CuriousSpark ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CuriousSpark is a Chrome browser extension that transforms webpage content into simplified learning materials. The Service uses artificial intelligence to:

• Create age-appropriate explanations of complex content
• Generate hands-on activity suggestions for young learners
• Define technical jargon and key concepts
• Provide study materials for students

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

CuriousSpark offers free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: 10 simplifications per month
• Learner Plan: 500 simplifications per month
• Family Plan: 1,300 simplifications per month

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing
• Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service to process illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content

6. Intellectual Property

The CuriousSpark name, logo, and all related materials are our intellectual property. The simplified content generated by the Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

7. Content and Output

CuriousSpark processes content from webpages you choose to simplify. We do not claim ownership of the original content or the AI-generated output. The AI-generated content is provided "as is" for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as authoritative or definitive.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any specific purpose
• The Service will meet all your requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CuriousSpark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
